About Us
Our mission
Saavli (ਸਾਵਲੀ / सावली) is a community-driven initiative led by the South Asian Canadian Mental Health Foundation (SACMH.org), created to celebrate South Asian art and culture while raising funds to support the post-secondary education of South Asian students in Canada. Through visual art and storytelling, Saavli brings communities together to celebrate identity and invest in the next generation.
Celebrating South Asian Creativity
We highlight the work of South Asian artists and creators through digital platforms and community storytelling. Our goal is to center voices that reflect the richness and diversity of South Asian identity in Canada.
Raising Funds for Education
Proceeds from Saavli go directly toward our active scholarship program, which supports South Asian post-secondary students in Canada. By bridging art and advocacy, we’re helping reduce financial barriers and empower youth to pursue their academic goals.
